London Southend Airport Transfers
Established in 1997, A1 Cars Private Hire Taxi Company can provide the right transport with our smartly dressed drivers to get you to the airport, whether you require a standard, executive car, MPV or a Minibus. Booster seats for children can be provided, or you may wish to use your own and have it stored safely, if having a return journey with us.
All major roads are closely monitored by our experienced drivers and in the event of any serious delays, they will provide an alternative route, so your journey is not disrupted.
In the event of your flight being delayed, our drivers monitor your flight details and will be waiting within 20 minutes of your landed flight, outside the terminal.
Our Company, if you would prefer, can provide a meet and greet service for £10.00. Included in this is up to one hours waiting and parking. A convenient waiting point inside the terminal would be advised before travelling.
In case your driver needs to contact you for any reason, we would appreciate a mobile contact number. Our office number is 01462 734499, should you need to call us in the event of having trouble seeing your driver or vehicle.
London Southend is an International Airport. It is one of six main airports serving London, the others being Luton, Gatwick, Stansted, Heathrow and City airports. There is a rail service that runs from Southend airport station to Liverpool Street, London. The old terminal at Southend is now disused, but, is being used for flight briefing facilities for pilots, has lounges and conference rooms, a cafe and a small information tourist point.
The new terminal building has its own concourse, arrivals and departures all on one level, a Lakers Bar on a mezzanine level. Within the bar area, there is a childrens play area and a large seating area, and a first class lounge. There are stairs, lifts and escalators within the terminal for easy access for the passengers.
If you happen to require assistance with disabled, mobility or any other issues, you can contact the airport prior to travelling.
There is also Stobart Airport Shopping which offers a large range of items and a Arnold & Forbes cafe, offering hot and cold food, hot and cold drinks and alcoholic berverages. Both the terminal and railway station do not stay open overnight. This may change if flights or trains are delayed.
